Context

To determine the predicted reliability of components and equipment from acknowledged models (standards, handbook, Experience Feedback).

Software tool

The calculation tools of reliability prediction, available on ItemToolkit software suite, are :

  • MIL-HDBK 217 (US Army) 
  • Bellcore (AT&T Bell Labs) 
  • NSWC (US Navy)
  • RDF 2000 or UTE C80-810 or Standard CEI 62380 edition 1 
  • China 299B (Chinese Military Standard, CHINA 299B)

Capacity

A structured decomposition of the component to analyze.
The calculation of the main reliability levels : failure rate of any component, MTBF, distribution of failures...
Component libraries are currently available in order to help you in the operating of the calculation engines.

Modularity

All the modules from the ItemToolkit range are provided with interface means compatible with the most widespread software suites.

Results

A report, which can be parametered according to the desired data, can be generated. It can be exported towards the most widespread software suites.
